We are seeking a skilled and proactive VMware Administrator to design, deploy, and manage a robust virtual infrastructure environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with VMware, Veeam, and Omnissa Horizon (VDI) and will play a key role in ensuring system reliability, scalability, and performance across a fast-paced production environment.
Design, deploy, and maintain VMware-based virtual infrastructure, ensuring high availability and optimal performance .
Administer and support Omnissa Horizon environments for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) .
Manage and monitor Veeam Backup & Replication to maintain data integrity and disaster recovery readiness .
Collaborate with cross-functional IT and factory operations teams to implement new systems and technologies.
Perform system upgrades, patch management , and regular maintenance across server and virtual environments.
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for configurations, processes, and disaster recovery procedures.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues, providing Tier II/III technical support.
Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to critical system incidents .
6–8+ years of experience in VMware administration and virtual infrastructure management .
Strong hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, ESXi, and Horizon VDI .
Proficiency in Veeam Backup & Replication tools.
Experience with Windows and Linux server administration .
Solid understanding of networking concepts, storage systems , and disaster recovery strategies .
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical , and documentation skills.
Ability to work independently in a factory or production environment .
Certifications such as VMware VCP , Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) , or similar.
Experience working in manufacturing or industrial environments.
Familiarity with automation and monitoring tools (PowerCLI, Ansible, SolarWinds, etc.).
