Overview

Bassett Healthcare Network , a progressive, academic health system in central New York and major teaching affiliate of Columbia University, is seeking a full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to provide healthcare services to its pediatric, adolescent, and adult patient populations at its outpatient practice in the Andes, NY.

Located just 3 hours from NYC , Andes NY is nestled in the heart of the Western Catskill Mountains, and offers year-round outdoor fun for nature lovers and outdoor enthusiasts. The surrounding areas have an abundance of lakes, streams and mountains that form the Catskill Mountain Range and the Adirondack State Park.

Job Description & Responsibilities

1. Andes Health Center is a (NYS) Patient-Centered Medical Home recognized through the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA). The NCQA Patient-Centered Medical Home standards emphasize the use of systematic, patient-centered, coordinated care that supports access, communication, and patient involvement.
2. Join an established group of 1 MD and 1 Advanced Practice Clinician
3. Traditional Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
4. Opportunity for 4/10-hour shifts, 7 AM – 5 PM
5. Full-spectrum case mix and diverse patient population
6. Collaborative Working Environment
7. Loan repayments may be available through Federal and State programs.
8. EMR-EPIC
9. Salary Range: $104,040 - $133,699. This compensation range represents Bassett Healthcare’s good-faith belief in the compensation range at the time of this posting or advertisement. Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
10. Sign-on bonus up to $50,000

Job Qualifications

1. National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
2. NYS Licensure
3. BLS Certification Required
4. DEA Required
