About Maria Nila

Maria Nila is a family-owned Swedish haircare brand, driven by sustainability and innovation. As a certified B Corp, we create 100% vegan and cruelty-free products in our climate-compensated factory in Helsingborg, Sweden. With a rapidly growing presence in North America, we are seeking a Logistics & Supply Chain Manager to strengthen our operational infrastructure and ensure best-in-class delivery across our distributor and e-commerce channels.

Role Overview

The Logistics & Supply Chain Manager will oversee all aspects of supply chain planning, logistics execution, and operational coordination for Maria Nila North America. This role will ensure efficient product flow from Sweden to North American 3PLs and distributors, manage inventory and replenishment, and lead continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain network.

This position is ideal for a hands-on, detail-oriented leader with a strategic mindset and experience driving excellence across international logistics, demand planning, and vendor management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee end-to-end logistics operations including inbound shipments from Sweden, customs clearance, warehousing, and outbound distribution to U.S. and Canadian partners.
  • Manage 3PL relationships to ensure optimal service levels, cost control, and process efficiency.
  • Lead supply and demand planning, coordinating with Swedish production and North American sales teams to ensure accurate forecasts and replenishment.
  • Monitor and optimize inventory across all channels, maintaining ideal stock levels to prevent shortages or overstock situations.
  • Manage purchase orders (POs), shipment tracking, and delivery schedules, ensuring on-time, in-full (OTIF) performance.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, and Operations to align supply chain strategies with business objectives.
  • Implement and maintain logistics KPIs and reporting to track performance, costs, and delivery accuracy.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects focused on cost reduction, sustainability, and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee returns, RTVs, and product movement tracking, ensuring proper reconciliation and documentation.
  • Serve as the main contact for operational escalations with distributors, 3PLs, and internal teams.

    Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or operations, ideally within consumer goods, beauty, or related industries.
  • Proven experience managing 3PLs, import/export operations, and distributor relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, demand planning, and freight logistics.
  • Proficiency in Excel and ERP systems; experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Business Central is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Hands-on, proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    What we offer
  • Opportunity to shape the logistics and supply chain infrastructure for a fast-growing, sustainability-driven beauty brand in North America.
  • Collaborative, entrepreneurial team culture with strong global connections.
  • Competitive compensation and benefits package.
  • Flexible, remote work environment.

Selections and interviews will be ongoing. The position may be filled before the application deadline, so early submission is encouraged. We only accept applications via our career site.

At Maria Nila, we strive to create a work environment that values and promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. At our company, every individual is unique and contributes to our collective success. We welcome differences in backgrounds, experiences, age, gender, sexual orientation, and ability. By fostering an inclusive culture where every voice is heard and respected, we believe we create a space where our employees can thrive and we can achieve our goals.
