We are looking for: Anesthesia Credentialed Veterinary Technician (RVT)
Proposed Schedule: 10 hour shifts (4 total) between Monday - Friday pending department needs with on call coverage
Do you enjoy collaborating with multiple teams and departments throughout the day In our Anesthesia department y ou will have the opportunity to continuously expand your knowledge and skillset in anesthe tic procedures and treatments .
What youll do :
Assist in patient procedures u sing knowledge of anesthesia and analgesia related protocols and procedures including formulating anesthetic plans tailored to individual patient needs.
Manage appointments obtain histories medical record keeping invoicing patient discharges etc.
I ntravenous catheter placement endotracheal intubation and anesthetic equipment use and maintenance
Thorough understanding of anesthetic considerations and how comorbidities affect case protocol and perioperative management
Monitor anesthesia trouble shoot anesthetic complications and mak e appropriate interventions
Continuous expan sion of knowledge and skillset; advanced anesthetic skills include arterial line placement epidurals difficult airway intubation and critical case management.
Lean on t horough understanding of physiology and pharmacology to facilitate delivery of appropriate anesthetic care for high risk patients or procedures.
Inspire teach multitask and be a highly functional team member
Ensure documentation is accurate and complete
Who you are :
State Registered Veterinary Technician license
Prior veterinary experience previous Anesthesia experience desired
Pro ficient in calculations ( drugs constant rate infusions unit conversions etc.)
Flexibility with work hours and able to work additional hours when necessary
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This role has a hiring range of $18.75-38.00/hr based on experience
