Job Description

Basic level support to the manager or supervisor as related to day to day operations of the office or department. Duties include reception, word processing, entry level spreadsheet preparation, data entry, minutes taking, mail service, photocopying and other duties as required.

Responsibilities

Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Provide clerical support to the Administrative Director and the Department of Medicine.
  • Provide highly confidential, diversified, administrative and secretarial duties for Department Leadership.
  • Assists manager or supervisor with day to day office operation tasks.
  • Reception duties, appointment and calendar maintenance, with appropriate message taking.
  • Word processing, basic Excel, data entry and other applications as required.
  • Performs mail pickup and department distribution.
  • Other duties as requested by department.
  • Provide administrative assistance and clerical support to the Department Leadership Team and the Residency Program.
  • Assist the Administrative Director of Medical Affairs and Emergency Medicine to assure the standard is met for compliance and regulatory reporting guidelines
  • Maintain and assure AMION in Epic for all on-call schedules and in-house providers
  • Maintain Employee files cognizant of regulatory compliance
  • Maintain the Daily Management Board by ensuring data posted is current and accurate.
  • Assist with Q.A. projects
  • Provides logistical support for the department initiatives.

Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Associates Degree in Secretarial Science or related field, or HS/GED plus two years of related experience. Bachelor's Degree preferred.
  • 3 years administrative or medical office experience required
